Key
The key is designed for searching by taxonomic criteria or morphological characteristics. Users can search the database according to a single criterion or a combination of morphological characteristics commonly used to visually identify pollen: ornamentation, size range, aperture, and dispersal unit. Images are associated with each morphological characteristic and the glossary provides descriptions of the terms.
Key Launch Options
1. Start the Lucid Key Server Edition - Instant play - No Java Runtime required.
2. Start the Lucid Applet Edition - Java Runtime Environment is required. This edition of the Lucid Player has a few more features than the Key Server player.
