Type locality: 1.5 km north of Bridge Creek, along Stuart Highway, about 32 km souheast of Adelaide River township, Northern Territory.

Biology and ecology

Gabbia microcosta occurs in seasonal swamps and pools.

Distribution

This species appears to have a restricted distribution, known only from a small area south of Adelaide River township.
