Notes

Shrub to 80cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, base cordate, flat, 1-6cm long and about 5-60mm wide, hairy, toothed. Flowers with 5 petals, yellow, single on stalks arising from the bases of the leaves. Endangered Vic. Threatened list Vic.

Differs from Abutilon halophilum in that the fruiting body is about as long as the calyx, from Abutilon otocarpum in that the petals are about twice as long as the calyx, and from Abutilon theophrasti in that the fruitlets in the fruiting body only have very short points.
