Tree 3-10m tall.  ‘Leaves’ alternating up the stems, 5-11cm long, 1-2mm wide, flat to narrow cylindrical, hairy, with smooth edges and a curved point.  Flowers heads yellow, spherical, in short 2-6 headed clusters or racemes, the stalks arisng from the bases of the 'leaves'.  Acacia loderi shrublands are an endangered community in NSW.  Rare SA.  Vulnerable Vic.
