Notes

Shrub or tree 1.5-7m tall.  Spines at the bases of the younger leaves.  ‘Leaves’ alternating up the stems, 2-8cm long, 2-8mm wide, flat, hairless to glaucous, edges smooth, with a straight or curved point.  Flower heads cream to yellow, spherical, the flower stalks arising from the bases of the 'leaves', borne singly, in pairs, clusters, or racemes of 8-14, flower heads often coming off the axis of the raceme in pairs, the stalks arisng from the bases of the 'leaves'.  Rare Vic.

Acacia victoriae ssp. arida has very hairy branchlets and 'leaves'.  Acacia victoriae ssp. victoriae has hairless branchlets and 'leaves'.
