Notes

Shrub to 50cm tall.  Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.5-3cm long, flat or folded, oval to round, scaly to mealy, hairy or becoming hairless above, margins entire or toothed, and pointed tips.  Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), male and female flowers on the same plant. Flowers single or in clusters, at the bases of the leaves, or forming short interrupted spikes at the tops of the stems. Rare Vic.  Threatened list Vic.
