Notes

Perennial grass to 1m tall.  Leaves with a hairy sheath at the base. Ligule a membrane without a fringe of hairs. Leaf blades 20-40cm long, 1-3mm wide, flat, rolled, or the edges rolled inwards, hairy. Spikelets 11-15mm long, excluding the awn. Mature seed groups spreading. Seeds with one long awn. Endangered Australia.  Endangered NSW. Protected NSW.
