Notes

Shrub to 1.5m tall.  Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.1-1.5cm long, 2-7mm wide, flat, sticky, hairless, the edges flat or curved slightly downwards, and blunt tips.  Male and female flowers on different plants.  Flowers with 0 petals, 5 sepals.  Male sepals yellowish, turning brown, female sepals yellow-green, often small (less than 3mm across).  Male flowers 1-3, female flowers solitary, at the bases of the leaves or at the ends of short shoots.
