Notes

Perennial grass to 80cm tall or prostrate.  Leaves with a hairy sheath at the base.  Ligule a membrane without a fringe of hairs. Leaves flat, 4-24cm long, 1-7mm wide, hairy or hairless.  Spikelets green, 6-45mm long excluding the awnsInflorescence spreading. Seeds with one long awn, in groups of 5-14.  Rare Vic.
