Notes

Annual forb 2-10cm cm tall or prostrate to sprawling.  Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.5-2cm long, 1-7mm wide, flat, rough to hairy, edges entire or the tips with 3-5 teeth.  Flower heads whitish green, with about 10 tiny yellow ‘petals’, many flowers in open groups at the tops of the stems.  Seeds hairy, with 5-6 spines.
