Introduced prostrate perennial forb with stems to 2m long,usually less than 30cm tall. Leaves succulent, opposite each other, 4-10cm long, 5-17mm wide, triangular in cross-section, hairless, one edge with small teeth. Flowers creamy yellow, becoming pinkish with age, with about 120-130 'petals', solitary or in threes at the ends of the stems. Fruit yellowish to reddish purple.
