Annual forb to 15cm tall. Leaves succulent, opposite each other, stem clasping, 0.2-0.6cm long, 1.5-4mm wide, flat to concave, hairless. Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), with 5 pale yellow to pink or red petals, in dense clusters at the bases of the leaves.
