Notes

Perennial forb or shrub to 2m tall.  Leaves alternating up the stems, usually of only one leaflet per leaf, occasionally with three, the two lateral leaflets much smaller than the central leaflet.  Leaflets 1-8cm long, 2-25mm wide, flat, hairy.  Flowers yellow, pea-shaped, with five petals, two almost joined together. Flowers in terminal racemes of 15-30 flowers.
