Notes

Shrub or perennial forb, often appearing annual, to 2.5m tall.  Leaves alternating along the stem.  Leaves composed of 3 flat leaflets, 1-7cm long, usually 10-30mm wide, flat, dotted with brown to black glands, hairless or sparsely hairy on the upper surface, hairy below, the edges toothed.  Flowers pink, bluish, or purple.  Flowers pea-shaped, with five petals, two almost joined together.  Flowers in racemes of 20+ flowers, the stalks arisng from the bases of the leaves.  Endangered Vic.  Threatened list Vic.
