Introduced annual forb 20cm-1.3m tall.  Leaves unpleasantly aromatic when crushed, to some people with a camphor smell.  Basal leaves 2-10cm long, 1-8mm wide, soon withering. Stem leaves alternating up the stems, with basal lobes, 1-6cm long, 1-3mm wide, flat, hairy, sticky, the edges entire or sometimes toothed.  Flower heads with 10-12 yellow ‘petals’, bell-shaped, single at the bases of the leaves or in open groups at the ends of the stems.  Flower buds sometimes reddish.  Noxious weed Vic.
