Notes

Shrub to 1.5m tall.  Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.8-3.5cm long, 3-15mm wide, flat, hairless.  Male and female flowers usually on different plants, flowers occasionally bisexual.  Flowers often small (less than 3mm across), greenish yellow, with 0 petals, in groups of 2-3, occasionally more, on short stalks arising from the bases of the leaves rarely in a few-flowered cluster at the ends of the branchlets.  Fruiting bodies with 3, rarely 4, angles.
