Shrub to 4m tall.  Leaves alternating or scattered up the stems or in clusters, 0.9-9cm long, 1-5mm wide, linear to flat or narrow cylindrical, sticky hairy to hairy or hairless, edges flat or rolled under and sometimes warty.  Flowers pink to red to purplish red, occasionally yellow or white, tubular with five lobes, borne singly at the bases of the leaves. Native of north of Broken Hill NSW, well north of the area covered by this key. Family Myoporaceae in SA.
