Notes

Mallee to 10m tall.  Bark smooth, or a short stocking of rough bark at the base.  New bark orange.  No oil glands in the branchlet pith.  Leaves aromatic when crushed, alternating up the stems, 3-10cm long, 3-13mm wide, glossy green, flat, hairless, with pointed tips or with hooked points.  Flowers white, with 0 petals, in clusters of 7-13 at the bases of the leaves.  Bud caps as long as or slightly longer than the base.  Nut valves not very noticeable.
