Shrub to 4m tall.  Leaves alternating up the stems, 5-21cm long, 1-2mm wide, flat to linear, rarely narrow cylindrical, sometimes dissected with 2-6 linear lobes, hairy becoming hairless, edges rolled under, with a straight point.  Spider flowers with 4 white to cream 'petals'.  Racemes cylindrical, at the ends of the branches or on stalks arising from the bases of the leaves.
