Notes

Shrub to 1.5m tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.5-3.5cm long, 1-3mm wide, linear to narrow cylindrical or flat, often grooved beneath, with pointed (usually curved) tips. Male and female flowers on different plants. Flowers with 0 petals; female flowers green, with cream stigmas, male flowers reddish brown, with cream stamens, solitary at the bases of the leaves.
