Notes

Introduced annual forb to 40cm tall.  Leaves forming a rosette at the base of the plant, 1-20cm long,  5-40mm wide, flat, hairless or sparsely hairy or bristly, toothed, lobed, or with wavy edges.  Occasionally leaves alternating up the stems, similar, smaller than the basal leaves, reducing upwards.  Flowers yellow, with many ‘petals’. Flower heads broad cylindrical, borne singly or in open groups of a few flowers on a stem arising from the base of the plant.
