Notes

Perennial forb with a woody base, sprawling or to 15cm tall.  Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.7-2cm long, 1.5-3mm wide, flat, hairy, with sharp pointed tips.  Flowers small (less than 3mm across), solitary at the bases of the leaves.  Fruiting body hairy on the upper side of the body and horizontal wing, hairless below, cream to greenish yellow, brown when dry.  Horizontal wing with a radial fold which sometimes develops into a slit.
