Annual forb to 15cm tall or prostrate.  Leaves alternating up the stems, with small basal lobes, 0.5-2.5cm long, less than 1mm wide, linear to threadlike, hairy, often sticky.  Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), green with yellow tips, and 0 petals.  Flower heads cylindrical, borne singly at the ends of the stems.
