Notes

Shrub or tree to 8m tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 3-14cm long, 2-38mm wide, flat or sometimes linear, hairless, with pointed tips. Flowers white with purple spots inside, bell-shaped, with five lobes, borne singly or in groups of 2-7 on short stalks arising from the bases of the leaves. Fruit light purple to reddish purple. Family Myoporaceae in SA. Rare Vic.

Differs from Myoporum acuminatum in that the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves are the same colour.

Differs from Myoporum platycarpum in that the ripe fruit is fleshy.
