Introduced parasitic forb to 40cm tall. Plant appears leafless. Leaves alternating up the stem, without chlorophyll, 1-1.5cm long, 1-3mm wide, sticky hairy. Flowers pinkish,  or pale blue to whitish, tubular, 2-lipped, with 5 lobes, in a dense spike that lengthens as the stem lengthens at the top of the stem. Declared plant in SA. Family Scrophulariaceae in NSW.
