Notes

Introduced annual grass to 1.8m tall. Leaves with a smooth sheath at the base. Ligule a membrane without a fringe of hairs. Leaves flat, 2-30cm long, 3-13mm wide, hairless, smooth to slightly rough, edges slightly rough, with a long fine point. Spikelets green, 4-7mm long. Seeds with 0 bristles. Mature seed heads elliptical to cylindrical.
