Annual forb to 30cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.5-1.2cm long, 1-3mm wide, linear, sparsely rough hairy, slightly sticky, sparsely gland dotted, margins entire, with pointed tips. Flowers with many yellow or white 'petals' and yellow centres. Flower heads hemispherical, borne singly at the ends of the stems.
