Notes

Introduced annual grass, 3-40cm tall or sprawling.  Leaves with a hairless sheath at the base.  Ligule a fringe of hairs or a membrane with a fringe of hairs. Leaves 1-10cm long, to 1.5mm wide, flat, rolled, threadlike, or with the edges rolled inwards, hairless.  Spikelets green, 4-7mm long.  Mature seed groups cylindrical to oval or slightly spreading.  Seeds with 0 bristles.
