Notes

Short-lived perennial forb or shrub, sprawling, to 20cm tall.  Leaves crowded along the stems, 0.8-1.5cm long, linear, hairy, with pointed tips.  Flowers small (less than 3mm across), solitary at the bases of the leaves.  Burrs hairless, with a horizontal wing with 5 teeth or spines.
