Notes

Short lived perennial forb or shrub to 50cm tall.  Leaves succulent, scattered along the branches, 0.3-1.5cm long, flattened cylindrical to linear, hairy when young.  Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), solitary at the bases of the leaves.  Burr hairless to slightly hairy, with a crown of 10-12 teeth or spines.
