Notes

Shrub or perennial forb to 1m tall.  Leaves succulent, 0.8-2cm long, narrow cylindrical, hairless.  Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), solitary at the bases of the leaves.  Burrs hairless; with 3 spines.
