Shrub or small tree to 3m tall.  Leaves alternating up the stems, composed of 1-6 pairs leaflets, each 0.7-2cm long, 2-6mm wide, linear to flat, the edges turned down, sparsely hairy, with blunt tips.  Flowers yellow, with 5 petals, in clusters of 6-10 flowers, the stalks arisng from the bases of the leaves.  Family was Caealpiniaceae.
