Notes

Introduced annual or biennial forb to 1m tall.  Leaves basal and alternating up the stems, to 25cm long, flat, hairy or hairless, dissected and toothed.  Stem leaves sometimes with entire edges.  Flowers yellow, with 4 petals, in groups at the tops of the stems, which elongate as the fruiting bodies mature. 

Differs from Sisymbrium erysimoides in that the petals are 2.5-6mm long, and the fruiting bodies are curved, on slender stems 6-10mm long.
