Notes

Annual or perennial grass to 75cm tall. Leaves with a sheath at the base. Ligule a fringe of hairs. Leaves 3-20cm long, 3-5mm wide, flat or rolled, hairless, rough, or hairy, margins rough, tapering to a long fine point. Spikelets 1-2mm long, purplish or grey to dark green-grey. Seeds with 0 bristles. Flower heads spreading. Rare Vic.
