Notes

Perennial grass 14cm-1.4m tall.  Leaves with a hairless sheath at the base.  Ligule a fringe of hairs or a membrane with a fringe of hairs. Leaves 7-45cm long, 2-3mm wide, linear, rolled, or flat then folded lengthwise when dry, hairless, sometimes the lower part rough, with rough edges.  Spikelets green to brown, 1-2mm long.  Mature seed groups narrow cylindrical.  Seeds with 0 bristles.  Vulnerable Vic.
