Distribution
Opius chromatomyiae is known from Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Chromatomyia horticola, Liriomyza huidobrensis.
Biology
Opius species oviposit in egg or larval stages and emerge from host puparia (Wharton, 1997d).
Comments
This species has only recently been described (Belokobylskij et al., 2004). Opius is a quite common genus, and it is very likely that other species of Opius are present in Southeast Asia. Belokobylskij et al. (2004) provided a key to Australian species of Opius associated with leaf-mining Agromyzidae.
