In all Aleiodes species except those in subgenus Tetrasphaeropyx, there are one or more visible tergites posterior to the fourth metasomal tergite (MT IV) (A). In Tetrasphaeropyx species (B), MT IV is convex, and covers the apical tergites, which are completely or nearly completely hidden. Ovi= Ovipositor; Ovi Sh= Ovipositor Sheath.
