AUSTRALASIAN/OCEANIAN � (Australia � New South Wales, Northern
Territory, Queensland, Western Australia).
Biology
Sarcophaga froggatti
has been bred from decayed meat in Brisbane (Johnston
and Tiegs, 1921; referred to as Sarcophaga
theta n. sp.) and collected at
decayed carrion-baits by KAM.
Taxonomy
DNA barcode sequences of S. froggatti have
been deposited in both GenBank and BOLD.
