Diorygopyx incomptus
Distribution
The Dorrigo area and the McPherson and Border Ranges, New South Wales, between 600-900m altitude. In dense tall open forest.
Description
Total length 7.5mm.
Head: Clypeal teeth separated. Surface densely covered with small punctures.
Prothorax: Pronotal surface densely and coarsely punctate, slightly finer in middle of disc.
Elytra: Very finely shagreened, impunctate. Striae distinct. Edges of epipleura distinct, sharply folded.
Sterna: Lateral edges of median lobe of metasternum narrowly margined, inner edge of margin sinuate.
Legs: Fore tibiae gradually broadened distally. Inner edge with irregular, rounded teeth.
Abdomen: Pygidium with a straight, complete transverse fissure, nearly or completely closed medially.
Sexual dimorphism
Female: Inner edge of fore tibiae not toothed.
