Diagnostic features

Differs from Benthodorbis pawpela in being smaller (up to 2.1 mm in maximum diameter) having a weak ventral angulation on the shell and a greatly reduced number of cusps on the radula teeth.

Biology and ecology

Obtained from bottom samples in Lake Sorell.

Distribution

Lake Sorrell in the eastern parts of central plateau of Tasmania.
