New taxa of Tateidae (Caenogastropoda, Truncatelloidea) from springs associated with the Great Artesian Basin and Einasleigh Uplands, Queensland, with the description of two related taxa from eastern coastal drainages. Known only from a small muddy spring on the edge of the western side of the Paroo River in the town common near the township of Eulo, SW Queensland. Dr R. Fensham (pers. comm. to WFP in Oct. 2017) that in 2012, and confirmed in 2014, the spring appears to be extinct.
Most similar to E. eulo, differing in some minor shell, opercular and anatomical characters.
Ponder et al. (2019) noted that, on the advice of Dr R. Fensham, the spring in which this species was found may now be extinct, indicating the likely extinction of this species.
