Biology and ecology

Members of Nanocochlea occur in mountain lakes, seepages, streams and caves.

Distribution

This species is known from creeks outside the Damper and Bauhaus Caves, Precipitous Bluff, southern Tasmania, but does probably not occur inside the caves themselves.
