In coastal springs below cliffs, on moist mud and litter on the sides of streams and in water supply filters. Locally abundant.

Distribution

This species has been found in several coastal springs in southwest Australia, between Cape Naturaliste and the Weld River.

Notes

This species has a similar distribution to that of another caenogastropod, Austroassiminea letha Solem et al. 1982, a species that is also restricted to coastal springs and seepages (Solem et al. 1982), and the two species are found together in two localities (Ellen Brook, Turner Brook near Deepdene Cliffs).
