Shrub 1-4m tall. ‘Leaves’ alternating up the stems, 1-3.5cm long, 4-13mm wide, flat, hairy or hairless, edges smooth, sometimes with a straight or curved point. Flower heads yellow, spherical, in 1-6 headed clusters, the stalks arising from the bases of the 'leaves'.
