Shrub or tree to 5m tall. 'Leaves' alternating up the stems, 3-9cm long, 4-25mm wide, hairless, resinous when young, with obtuse tips, and often with small mucros. Flower heads yellow, cylindrical, in single or in pairs arising from the bases of the 'leaves'.
