Mistletoe. Usually on species of Acacia, eg Acacia burkittii, but occasionally on other host species. Leaves alternating along the stems, opposite each other, or in clusters. Leaves 2-8cm long, 0.5-2.3mm diameter, narrow cylindrical, hairless. Flowers red, with 4 or 5 petals, in umbels composed of 2-3 groups of 3 flowers on stalks arising from the bases of the leaves. Fruit pink or white, translucent.
