Notes

Perennial grass to 85cm tall. Leaves with a rough sheath at the base. Ligule a fringe of hairs. Leaves 12-17cm long, about 1mm wide, folded together lengthwise, rolled, or edges rolled inwards, rough to bristly. Spikelets 6-11mm long. Seeds with 3 awns. Mature seed groups cylindrical.
