Introduced climbing or creeping annual forb with perennial roots, with stems to 4m long, or prostrate. 'Leaves' alternating up the stems, 1-7cm long, 4-30mm wide, flat, hairless. Flowers with 6 greenish white to white 'petals', one to several on stems originating at the bases of the leaves. Fruit red. Family Liliaceae in SA. A weed of national significance. Noxious weed throughout NSW. Declared plant in SA. Noxious weed Vic.
