Introduced annual, biennial, or perennial forb to 80cm tall. Leaves slightly fleshy. Leaves clustered at the base of the plant, 3-55cm long, 1.5-8mm wide, cylindrical and hollow, hairless. Flowers white to pale pink, with 6 'petals', in an open many-flowered panicle or raceme on a flowering stem arising from the base of the plant. Family Liliaceae in SA. Noxious weed in Balranald and Wentworth Shires. Declared plant in SA. Noxious weed in Vic.
