Notes
Shrub to 3m tall. Leaves 2-4cm long, flat, scaly, margins entire to toothed, tips blunt. Male and female flowers mostly on separate plants. Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), in clusters forming interrupted panicles at the tops of the stems, or in clusters at the bases of the leaves.
